Friday 29th November will see the usual hype and excitement at the Charlestown Secondary School, as the renowned institution hosts its annual cross country events.
Normally, these road runs are held early in the year, during the sports term, but an experiment of having them late in the year, which was started last year, has gained approval with the teachers and students at the school.
As was the case last year, all of the races will be completed during that same day, with some being held during the morning and the others during the afternoon session. These will include junior and senior boys; junior and senior girls and the highly anticipated teachers race as well.
