The cheer leaders came out in their numbers and of course their colours and even some costumes as well.
It was Friday 12th February and the day for the annual cross country events at the Charlestown Secondary school.
The athletes commenced on the school road; went through Stoney Grove and through sections of Bath village, before returning to the school.
Some did not take it that seriously and virtually walked the entire route. However, senior girls’ champion, Rachelle Joseph of Blue house, was not mincing matters as she took gold for the fifth consecutive time in the event, as she has been doing from since her entrance into the school..

Meanwhile, teacher at the school, Mrs. Nichola Parris is inviting the general public to the first ever field events day to be hosted by the school on Thursday 18th February, at the ET Willet Park.
According to Parris it will involve events such as javelin; high jump; long jump and many other activities which will bring out the true talents of the athletes.
The cost of getting into the Park on the day, will be just $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for children.
