The West Indies won the second T-20 match versus England in Grenada on Thursday.
Put in to bat first, the men in maroon were off to a steady start and then the spinners put the brakes on the scoring, picking up crucial wickets in the process.
It took a superb partnership between Skipper Rovman Powell and Brandon King, to give the Windies men a fighting chance to win the game.
The Englishmen commenced aggressively in response, but they too eventually succumbed to a wonderful spell by Gudakesh Motie, while the other bowlers contributed as well, although Russell was taken to the cleaners.
Summarized scores: West Indies 176 for 7 (King 82*, Powell 50, Rashid 2-11) beat England 166 for 7 (Curran 50, Joseph 3-39) by 10 runs
