The West Indies under 19’s were all set and rearing to go on Tuesday 10th August, for their second round of trial matches in Antigua, but Tropical storm Fred, had other ideas.
Heavy rains pelted the northern Caribbean as a weather disturbance strengthened into Tropical Storm Fred south of Puerto Rico late Tuesday.
All matches were postponed due to wet outfields.
However, as conditions improve in the Leeward Islands, the newly released rescheduling of matches is as follows:
Wednesday 11th August—starting at 2 pm
Friday 13th August-starting at 9.30 am
Saturday 14th August –starting at 9.30 am
Meanwhile, The Dominican Republic, Haiti and the southern Bahamas could get hit Wednesday, and people in Florida were urged to monitor updates
