During the Primary Schools cricket tournament on June 28th, at the ET Willet Park, the St. James’ Primary School faced off against the St. Thomas’ Primary School.
Batting first, St. Thomas reached a total of 88 runs for 7 wickets. Germarie Rogers scored the highest with 15 runs, while Jevonte Honders Maynard contributed 10 runs. Additionally, there were 49 extras.
Initially struggling, St. James’ Primary lost a few wickets early on. However, Austin Williams’ impressive performance, scoring 37 not out, led his team to victory with a final score of 90 for 5 wickets.
St. Thomas’ also gave away 38 extras during the match.
