Cricket : Leewards Take First Innings Honours in Practice Match

The Leeward Islands cricket team, which is gearing up for the regional season, set to commence next month, played a practice encounter versus a Nevis team, at the Et Willet Park, on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th January.

The Leewards got to 270 all out in their first innings, thanks in the main to an attractive ton, by Mikyle Louis.

The Nevis team in response, fell short at 190 all out, led by an equally attractive 81 not out by Carlon Bowen Tuckett.

The match was called off after the Nevis team’s innings.
