In the second match of the super 50 cup, hosted by the West Indies Cricket Board, Guyana dominated Barbados, on a wet night, on Monday 8th February.
Guyana batted first and on the back of aggressive half centuries by Shimron Hetmyer and Romario Shepherd, scored a competitive 235 all out.
Barbados in response, got off to a slow start, which counted against them in a huge way, when rain eventually sopped play.
Guyana was awarded the game on the Duckworth/Lewis method, winning by 56 runs.
