In the first match, the powerful Bushwhackers team defeated the SDA Jets team to advance to the finals. The Jets, batting first, could only manage 44 runs, and the Bushwhackers chased it down in just 5 overs, with Carlon Smithen JR scoring an unbeaten 26.
The second match was the highlight of the day, pitting the Guyanese against the Easterns. Easterns batted first and posted a competitive 101 runs in 12 overs. Adelvin Phillip scored 30, Bryce Fyfield remained unbeaten on 24, and Ken-Ken finished not out on 15.
When the Guyanese batted, they initially struggled, and Easterns seemed to have the game in hand. However, a partnership between Annand and Rakesh led to a sudden increase in the run rate, with 24 runs coming from one Lemuel Pemberton over. The Guyanese eventually secured victory in the final over, with both batsmen unbeaten on 39 runs each.
Therefore, on Sunday, July 21st, Easterners will compete against the Jets for third and fourth place, while the Guyanese will take on the Bushwhackers in the grand finals.
