Cricket : Empire Receives New Uniforms

On Friday, February 7th, a brief ceremony took place where Oscar Walters, the Manager of SL Horsfords – Nevis, presented a brand-new set of uniforms to Jevon Manners of the Empire Cricket Club for the team members to use.

Carlisle “BINGHI” Pemberton, another top executive of the company, noted that SL Horsfords has a strong tradition of giving back to the community, and the Empire Club has particularly benefited from this support over the years.

During the presentation, Walters acknowledged that the club has produced many outstanding cricketers and continues to showcase young talent in recent times.

Jevon Manners, in accepting the uniforms, promised that the team would represent the company well by maintaining their winning ways.

Hon. Eric Evelyn, the long-serving President of the club, expressed gratitude to the Horsfords management for their ongoing support and hopes that the partnership between the two entities will continue for many years to come.
