Colin Archibald, the hard-hitting Nevisian and Leeward Islands all-rounder, has journeyed to the USA, where he is suiting up for a newly organized Cricket club in the Minor league there—The Morrisville Raptors.
The club started its season on Saturday 25th July and is set to play home games at Church Street Park, located in Morrisville, North Carolina.
The Raptors will play in the Minor league Southern division, along with Fort Lauderdale Lions, Atlanta Fire, Atlanta Lightning and Orlando Galaxy.
The Raptors will be led by former South African international, Dane Piedt as Captain and Obus Pienaar as vice-Captain, who have both relocated to Morrisville, to help to develop the game there.
The Raptors will be officially launched at a special event that is scheduled to take place in the not-too-distant future.
Nevisians at home and abroad are wishing Archibald every success in this new endeavor.
