Just as it was last year, Teacher Cranston stormed his way to another gold medal in the Gingerland Secondary School’s teachers’ cross country race.
The exciting event took place on Friday 10th February.
The race started at the school’s gate and the athletes ran along the main road, making a left turn into Hard Times and then making another left turn immediately after passing the Corn Mill.
Yet another left turn, took them down Rawlins road and entering the main road at Market Shop and then back to the school.
Cranston led all the way and did not stop for a breather en route.
The top there placers were:
1st Teacher Cranston
2nd Teacher Swaybe
3rd Teacher Galloway
The boys and girls of the school will participate in their cross country runs on Monday 13th February.
