President of the Nevis Football Association, Rohan Isles, indicated on Tuesday that he is hopeful that the local Football league, which commenced late last year, will resume this weekend.
He however noted that he is awaiting word from the Referees’ Association, as to the availability of Referees for the games.
An official from the Referees’ Association later confirmed that they are in turn awaiting the release of the SKNFA Referees’ schedule and then they will be able to establish a schedule for the matches in Nevis.
It is believed that confirmation may be established sometime today.
There is therefore a huge possibility that matches may recommence this coming weekend.
