Combermere-Nevis—The men’s’ Health and wellness club which has been formed in the Combermere area continues to make waves within the community.

The group is currently celebrating its third year of existence and is coordinated by Nurse Janice Williams and Nursing Assistant, Jaqueline France.
According to one member of the group, the group was initiated due the fact that it was recognized that men do not easily visit the Doctors to have regular checkups done and so these group of men are setting the example in having regular health checkups and having regular meetings, when they sometimes have guest speakers who will talk on various health related issues.
The group members are encouraging more men to become a part of the very active club, as they enedeavour to make health a priority and attempt to positively take control of their personal health and wellbeing.
The group started with their gift sharing sojourn in Fountain Village and ended at Newcastle village.
The persons who were personally touched on that day were: Lorraine Phillip; Annette Lewis; Jeffrey Kelly; Mrs. Browne and Lanval Roberts.
Group members in presenting the pre-Christmas gifts, indicated that it was all about giving back to the community.
“Just how we have been blessed, so too we have chosen to bless others who are in need,’ stated one member.
