Muscle man, Colin Lazarus of Nevis, was the stand out act at the recently concluded 43rd Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Body Building championships.
The event was held in the Bahamas over the weekend, with the grand finals taking place on the evening of Saturday 26th September.
From all reports, Lazarus made a marked impression on the large audience and even more significantly, the judges, with his poise, grace, posture and his well toned body.
He was adjudged Heavy weight champion in the contest.
Also representing team St.Kitts and Nevis, was Emmanuel Jeffers, originally of Stoney Grove in Nevis but who now resides in Anguilla. He placed second in both the middleweight and masters categories.
Desmond Paul placed fifth in the middle weight category and Vernon Francis placed sixth in the middleweight category.
Former top cop Joseph Liburd, who accompanied the team, indicated that the Federation athletes ‘did us proud’ and is expected to give more details on his return to the island on Monday.
