Coach Morton Elaborates on Issues with the SKNFA

The coach of the Queen City Ladies Football team, Curtis Morton Jr., believes that his team, and Nevis teams in general, are being treated unfairly by the St. Kitts-Nevis Football Association.

He mentioned that in the previous football season, the SKNFA was very helpful in providing transportation for his team to and from St. Kitts and to and from the football grounds.

However, this year, there has been a drastic change, and the SKNFA is not providing the same level of assistance. Game schedules are not convenient for the girls’ work schedules and other commitments.

Despite reaching out to the SKNFA to address these concerns, matches have been scheduled against the team’s requests.

As a result, the team couldn’t attend matches and was penalized.

Morton is appealing to the President of the SKNFA and other executive members to consider the challenges faced by Nevis teams and to accommodate them better, including scheduling more matches in Nevis.
