Charlestown, Nevis – Four hundred (400) primary school students will now benefit from the donation of Soft Start Twin tooth brushes from the City Drug Store (Nevis) Limited and its Corporate partner, the UK based Wisdom Toothbrush company.
The much welcomed assistance valued at five hundred dollars (EC$500.00) will also help to support local efforts to provide oral health preventive services to children between the ages of five to twelve years; by helping them adopt the best practices for proper oral care.
This contribution comes on the heels of a recent drive by the Ministries of Health and Education to bring about an increased awareness of the importance good oral hygiene through a number of activities specifically targeted towards promoting good dental health.
