The CG Massives team, with its usual home support, stormed to victory in the finals of the 2016 edition of the Malcolm Guishard Basketball league, at the Church Ground hard court, on the evening of Sunday 4th September.
A determined Eagles team at certain points in the game, seemed set to upset the apple cart but a decisive second quarter, by the CG Massives, proved to be the crucial difference in the game.
CG Massives won the game, 64 to 55 at the final whistle.
Meanwhile, CGRS won the third place game by default, as the Ole Skool team failed to show.
