(BASSETRRE, ST. KITTS)- Police Officers in the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force have made an arrest in the 2014 murder of Istan Mitchum.
According to a police press release that was issued yesterday Monday, June 8, 2015, on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, twenty-one year old Erastus Laville of Central West Bourne Street was formally arrested and charged for the murder of twenty-four year old Istan Mitchum of Upper Cayon Street.
The incident occurred at Central West Bourne Street on October 24, 2014.
The communiqué also stated that Laville was charged with two counts of malicious damage, which were allegedly committed with a firearm on the properties of Calvin Hazel at Fort Thomas Road.
This incident occurred on March 18, 2015. It is alleged that Laville had fired a number of shots in the direction of an off-duty police officer.
