CEMS DEFEATS CSS IN HIGH SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIPS

The 2016 edition of the High Schools Netball championships, is well on the way. On Thursday 20th October, the Charles E. Mills Secondary School (CEMS) journeyed across the waters, to engage the Charlestown Secondary School (CSS), at the Grell Hull-Stevens Netball Complex.

The CSS team had full home support, as lots of the students, came out in their numbers to support their team.

The CSS team tried several combinations, as they got off to a sluggish start.

At the completion of the first half, they were struggling with the score line 13 to 3 in favour of CEMS.

However, in the final half of the game, the home team, seemed to have gotten its combinations perfected and stormed back into the game in a major way but the CEMS team managed to hold on to the lead, up to the final whistle.

Final score: CEMS 24   CSS 13

The tournament continues this week.
