Another trophy was added to the growing collection already decorating the front counter at Caribbean Cable Communications.
It was on Tuesday 4th June that Manager of the CCC Bath United Football club, Alex Claxton, made the presentation to Marketing Manager of the prestigious company, Mr. Sylvester Meade.
Claxton thanked the company for being the constant sponsor of his club for the past ten years and noted that during that period, the Club has developed and improved and has become more organized. He pointed out that his club has also won quite a number of competitions, both locally and within the Leeward Islands as reflected by the wide array of trophies on display. He also pointed to the youth development program of the club and pointed to the talented Shakir Claxton who was present, as a shining example of the quality of young players being produced by the club. Shakir is the son of the late ace Footballer, Morrel SLYBO Newton and Pat Claxton.
He informed the small gathering that the trophy being handed over on the day was the team’s most recent winnings in the knockout competition of the ongoing CCC Bath United, Caribbean Cable Communications, Basil Challenger league.
The trophy was then handed over by Ag Director of Sports and member of the club, Mr. Jamir Claxton who thanked Caribbean Cable for their sponsorship through the years.
Marketing Manager of the Caribbean Cable Communications, Sylvester Meade, congratulated the CCC Bath united club on their many successes and pointed to their successes not only in the local leagues but their continued progress in the leagues coordinated by the SKNFA. The team has so far qualified for the final four in the division one competition. He noted that his company was happy to be associated with a winning team and pledged that they will also continue to seek ways of giving back to the community.
The trophy was placed among the growing collection on the counter.
