Former West Indies cricket all rounder Carl Tuckett, now turned Umpire, has been called up for duties in the Caribbean Premier league.
Tuckett will feature in the Antigua leg of the tournament which commences on the evening of Tuesday 13th August.
He will perform various roles.
For the match scheduled on Tuesday 13th August between Antigua Hawksbill and Barbados Tridents, he is scheduled as at the TV umpire.
He will however be one of the on-field umpires for two games:
Thursday 15th August–Jamaica Tallawahs v Guyana Amazon Warriors
Saturday 17th August–Antigua Hawksbills v Guyana Amazon Warriors
Before leaving Nevis on Monday 12th August, Tuckett expressed delight at his call up and promised to perform at the best of his ability in the various capacities in which he will be involved.
