Caribbean Galaxy, a prominent Caribbean developer, has played a significant role in local economies by constructing the Ramada Hotel in St Kitts and financing the modern Saint Kitts Correctional Facility.

The company expanded its operations to Saint Lucia in 2018 and began constructing the Dreams Resort in early 2023, with additional plans for a Zoetry Resort.

In a statement released Tuesday, Caribbean Galaxy asserted that it has always adhered to legal and industry standards in all its business dealings.

“With this background, Caribbean Galaxy is appalled by the false accusations of Philippe Martinez, suggesting that our company has engaged in corrupt practices with politicians in St. Kitts and Nevis and Saint Lucia,” the statement read.

Philippe Martinez claims that Caribbean Galaxy’s alleged misconduct as a citizenship program agents hindered his investment opportunities.

However, Caribbean Galaxy emphasized that it has no relationship or business dealings with Martinez. “We want to make it categorically clear that Caribbean Galaxy has no relationship or business dealings with Philippe Martinez,” the company stated.

The developer further noted that it has conducted its business by the laws of the countries where it has received approval as a developer.

“We take serious offence to the accusations made by Mr Martinez, which aim to damage our company’s reputation and goodwill. Since conducting business as a developer in the Caribbean, our company has not just acted as agents for citizenship but has taken a keen interest in the social and economic development of local communities,” Caribbean Galaxy asserted.

Caribbean Galaxy says it is committed to defending itself against these allegations, referencing a similar defamation case against Martinez and his associates in Saint Kitts in November 2023.

“We remain focused on completing the Dreams Resort and contributing to the Government of Saint Lucia through the infrastructure option.”

The company reassured the government and people of Saint Lucia of its dedication to defending its name in court and resisting intimidation from individuals who have not succeeded in their investments.
