Breaking News: Nevis records yet another-Rawlins Village youth gunned down at cricket match

Reports reaching this news outlet indicate that another youth has lost his life as a result of gun violence.

Dead is a Rawlins Village young man,Rondell Chapman, who was killed this afternoon Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Cotton Ground Playing Field.

It is said that a cricket match was in progress and the victim was in the stands when two masked gun assailants approached him, and shot him in the head, in full view of the other spectators and players.

This is the second murder in the Federation in the past 24 hours.

A 15 year old youth was stabbed to death by his 21 year old brother in Janet Alley, McKnight, St. Kitts last night. It is reported that there was an altercation between the brothers over a broken fingernail.

The 21 year old brother is said to be in the custody of the police.

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force continue to investigate both incidents.
