(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- The village of New Castle was shaken for a second time today Thursday, February 27, 2014 with yet another shooting incident.
Just hours after a shooting incident at Shaw’s Road that left two young men scrambling over a shop railing for their lives, another shooting incident occurred about a two minutes drive from which the first incident took place.
Nevispages has learnt that at about 3:00 p.m. Rashid Huggins of Maynard’s Ground, Gingerland was attacked while at his job site at M&M Taxi and Rentals Enterprise located at Camps Village, New Castle.
It is alleged that he was shot in his foot.
These two shooting incidents came two days after the brother of Junior Minister; Hon. Troy Liburd was attacked at Prospect in the vicinity of the Public Works Department.
