MOSCOW, Russia:
Double Olympic champion and world record holder Usain Bolt only touched down in Moscow a few hours ago, ahead of the start of the 2013 IAAF World Championships in Athletics, but he is already entertaining huge crowds.
Bolt, who arrived in the Russian city in the late afternoon on Sunday, spent the rest of the evening exciting a huge crowd that had gathered at a Puma ‘Jamaica Party’ inside Gorky Park.
The defending 200m world champion answered questions and later danced and acted as DJ, while local selectors DJ Chagin and DJ Pirumov pumped ‘old school’ and techno-flavoured reggae and dancehall beats throughout the venue.
“Its great to be here in Moscow, its my first time here and I am looking to do something special for all of you,” Bolt said.
Bolt will be looking to bounce back from his false start at the last World Championships in 2011 in Daegu, South Korea and has promised a ‘show’ here.
