Charlestown-Nevis-The women’s group of the Bethel Apostolic Church located at Old Hospital Road in Charlestown made a significant visit to the Charlestown Primary School on Wednesday 20th June.
They did not go empty handed. They went ‘bearing gifts.’
The group led out with praise and worship songs, during the morning assembly and then presented gifts of toiletries and some maintenance supplies to the school.
Also present was Pastor Simeon Prentice, who stated that he was a past student of the school and he had benefitted much from his tenure there.
He thanked the women’s group for coming up with the idea to make the timely donation.
One of the teachers at the school, accepted the gifts on behalf of the Principal, who was unavoidably absent.
She thanked the group for their thoughtfulness and genourosity and noted that they will be utilized for the benefit of the school.
