The Village Premier League continued at the Hard Times play field on Sunday 22nd April.
As per usual a bumper crowd was on hand, to witness another two exciting games.
In match one Easterns engaged Beaters.
Easterns won the toss and batted first and were off to a blazing start and kept the momentum throughout with Curtis Morton Sr; Sterling Marshall; Sebastien Manners and Curtis Morton jr, all hitting the ball lustily, to all parts of the ground.
They got to what was considered a competitive 127 in just 12 overs.
However, after losing the early wicket of Junior DUNCAN Mills for a duck Adelvin Phillip, took full control of the game.
He survived an early chance off the bowling of Curtis Morton jr but went on to smash no fewer than 13 huge maximums to seal the deal for his team.
