Basketball Youth And Sports Eagles into Finals Yet Again

Youth and Sports Eagles Reps

The Youth and Sports Eagles out of Nevis is once again in the A Division final of St. Kitts -Nevis Basketball Association league.

Manager /Coach of the team, Jaekeeda Thomas and Player/Coach, Jefry Lewis, both shared the good news on Wednesday 15th June.

The Nevis-based team performed exceptionally well in the preliminary rounds and has qualified for the grand finals versus Cayon.

Despite the fact that Cayon beat them on three occasions in the preliminary exchanges, both officials are confident that the finals will be a totally different result.

They cited issues of shortage of players in the preliminary games, due to players sitting exams and other issues, but are adamant that they will have their full slate of players for the best of five finals.

Ms. Thomas has indicated that they are even speaking with the officials at the SKNBA to see if one of the games can be played in Nevis so that the Nevis fans can share in the excitement.

The best of five finals are scheduled as follows:

Game one-Saturday 17th June

Second game-Tuesday 20th June

BREAK FOR MUSIC FESTIVAL

Game three-Tuesday 27th June

Game four-Thursday 29th June

Game five-Saturday 1st July

This is the third time that the Eagles have flown into the finals.

The first time they won and last year they placed an honourable second.
