Basketball Youth And Sports Eagles in Fight to Stay Alive on Home Court

The Youth and Sports Eagles Basketball team is in a fight for survival.

Having played magnificently to get into the A Division final of the ongoing St. Kitts -Nevis Basketball Association league, they have been roughed up by arch-rivals Cayon Lions, in the best-of-five series.

Cayon Lions won the first game 84 to 64 and even though the Nevis team looked a lot sharper in game two, the Cayon Lions still managed another win 89 to 84.

Game three is now scheduled for Nevis and will be played at the Grell Hull Stevens Netball Complex, tonight-Tuesday 27th June.

Game time is 7.30 pm.

If the Eagles win this one, there will be a game four, but if they lose, they will just have to go home until next year.

The general public is cordially invited out to cheer on the local team.
