The exciting news for Basketball lovers on Nevis, is that after a major lull in play, Basketball action will return to Nevis this coming Saturday night-27th October.
According to President of the Nevis Amateur Basketball Association (NABA), Miss Wanda Parry, there were some kinks to be sorted out after the last tournament. Apparently those matters have been resolved and there will be two exhibition matches on Saturday evening at the Craddock Road Basketball court.
Two games will be played and at least one visiting team from St. Kitts is expected to be on show, along with the youthful under 16 team from Gingerland which recently participated in a tournament held in St. Kitts.
There will be more action on Sunday 28th October as well, as the official closing ceremony from the last tournament, will finally be held.
However, prior to the closing ceremony, there will be an exhibition game, starting at 7 pm.
Miss Parry is inviting the general public to come out and witness some exciting local Basketball action
