Barbados won the CWI Rising Stars U15 Championship title after beating the Windward Islands by 192 runs on Wednesday in the final round of the tournament.
JKN Hinds (84), DJ Wiggins (62), and JA Parris (58 ) scored half-centuries in Barbados’ 297 all out in 49.2 overs.
Earsinho Fontaine took 5 for 18 for the Windward Islands in only 4.2 overs.
JSE Worrell then took 3 for 17 and KA Clarke 2 for 5 as Barbados bowled out the Windward Islands for 105 in 2.2 overs.
Meanwhile, 2023 champions Trinidad and Tobago signed off with an eight-wicket win over Jamaica at Coolidge Cricket Ground.
Jamaica, batting first, got to 101 all out off 38.1 overs with DO Hall scoring 50.
Arion Mohammed took 4 for 17, while Aaden Owen had 3 for 14 for T& T.
Skipper Zane Maraj (32 not out) and vice-captain Zakarriya Mohammed (29 not out) brought victory for T& T after the loss of two early wickets.
Trinidad and Tobago lost to Guyana and the Windward Islands before completing victories against the Leeward Islands and Jamaica.
Their first game against Barbados was washed out.
Finally, at Liberta, Guyana beat the Leeward Islands by 147 runs to win their fourth straight game.
P Ram and EJ Lewis both scored 60 to power Guyana to 258 for 8 in their 50 overs.
R Pamdehol then took two wickets in four balls without conceding a run, while R Pereira had 2 for 11 to bowl out the Leewards for 111 in 35.4 overs.
However, Barbados edged out Guyana for the title on points.
