Autopsy reveals the cause of death of Nevis’ first murder for 2015

(GINGERLAND, NEVIS)– Forensic Pathologist, Dr. Valery Vladimir Alexandrov conducted a post mortem on the body of Devron ‘Kobe’ Griffin, Nevis’ first murder victim for the year 2015, on Monday, January 12, 2015.

The autopsy revealed that Devron ‘Kobe’ Griffin died from gunshot wounds to the head and body.

The popular bus driver was gunned down just outside of his Rawlins Village home on Friday, January 9, 2014 sometime after 10:00 p.m.

Residents in the small community said they heard a number of gunshots that sounded like firecrackers.

The father of two received multiple gunshots to his body while still being seated in the driver’s seat of his omnibus. It was then reported that the bus rolled back into a pole causing a loud crash.
After the sound of the gunshot subsided, Griffin was found in his vehicle still breathing.

Nevispages understands that he was placed in a private vehicle and was rushed to the Alexandra Hospital but met his demise before his arrival.

The investigation into his death continues.
