Athletics Sporting Icons to Be Honoured

Two sporting icons from St. Kitts and Nevis will be honoured at an upcoming athletic meet, which will take place at the Nevis Athletic Stadium.

The St. Kitts-Nevis Athletic Association (SKNAA) will host its NATIONALS meet, which will also serve as Olympic trials, on Saturday, June 15th and Sunday, June 16th, starting at 1 pm on both days.

This meet will be held in honour of two men who have been stalwarts in the field of athletics for many years and have both passed away: Alphonso Bridgewater and Lester Blackette.

The event will feature the finest athletes from St. Kitts and Nevis.

The entry fee for both days is EC $10.00.
