There were times when he exhibited signs that he was in pain and even hinted at giving up, but with encouragement from his brother and other supporters of the B
lue House team, Kayin Burnett persevered and made it to the completion of the race in first place.
It was Friday 17th November and the Gingerland Secondary School held the cross-country event for senior boys.
They commenced at the school’s main gate, ran along the main road; left turn at Brino’s; through Hardtimes; up sixteen acres; through Rawlins; through Zetlands; back to the main road and onto the school.
