The Joycelyn Liburd Primary School held its sports meet on Thursday 3rd March at the Nevis Athletic stadium, under the distinguished patronage of former athletes, Colin Freeman Jr and Ariella Wilkinson.
The school maintained its glowing record of the usual prompt start, even though it was a different venue.
The athletes competed fiercely in races such as 100, 200, 300, 400, 800 and 1200 meters and climaxed with the 4×100 and 4×400 meters relays.
The huge crowd was well and truly entertained.
At the end of the day, the final point standings were as follows:
Blue House 352 points-Champions
2nd Greenhouse 305 points
Red house 261 points
