The Montessori Primary School held its annual sports meet on Friday, March 14th. For the first time, the event took place at the Nevis Athletic Stadium, as Coach Eddy Caines emphasized the importance of familiarizing the athletes with the track in preparation for the upcoming Interprimary meet, where the school will collaborate with St. James’ Primary School.
The honoured patron for the day was the proud parent and well-known local artist, Lee “Gharlic” Swanston.
The athletes competed in various events, including the 400, 800, 1200, 200, 150, and 100 meters, along with some fun races and relays.
