The Violet O J Nicholls Primary School (VOJN) hosted its sports meet at the School’s grounds, on Friday 18th March.
The honoured patrons were Miss Tiana Nisbett and Mr. Thyrone SPEEDY Jeffers-past student-athletes at the school.
The children competed in the 400, 800, 200 100, 80, 4×100, 4×400 meters races and some endurance, fun races as well.
During the intermission, there was also live entertainment provided by SPEEDY and DELLY RANKS.
The 4×100 meters relay saw a continuation of what is now being referred to as the UBER RELAY SERVICES, with athletes being physically carried from one baton station to the next. This also added to the excitement of the day.
