Arrests and Charges Following Vehicle Search

On Monday, August 5, 2024, officers from the Anti-Narcotics Unit of the Royal St. Christopher-Nevis Police Force conducted a routine stop and search operation on the Southeast Peninsular and searched motor car PB2754. During the search, they discovered a 9 mm pistol and five rounds of matching ammunition in the vehicle. As a result, all three occupants of the car were taken into custody.

On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, Taj Frederick, the driver of the vehicle, was formally arrested and charged with possession of an unlicensed firearm and possession of ammunition.
