Qualified persons can apply for an International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) scholarship or a Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) scholarship.
ICDF is ONLY offering scholarships at the Master’s and Doctoral levels for 2024.
The application should reach the Ministry of Education on or before February 15, 2024, for onward processing.
MOFA will be offering scholarships for persons interested in pursuing degree programmes at the bachelor, master or doctoral level. However, recipients of MOFA scholarships must undergo one year of Mandarin at a Mandarin Training Centre.
The deadline for the receipt of the application for the MOFA scholarship is February 29, 2024
All persons desirous of applying for an ICDF or MOFA scholarship to pursue programmes at the master or doctoral level are asked to contact Mrs. Carol Boddie at the Ministry of Education or Mr. Jack Lee at the Taiwan Embassy, IMMEDIATELY to ascertain which Taiwan Embassy has the authority to authenticate their transcript(s) and certificate(s).
