The Nevis Cricket Association’s annual general meeting, which was scheduled for Thursday 25th January, has been rescheduled.
The meeting which was previously slated for the Nevis Cooperative Credit Union’s conference room, was hastily changed to the Sports Department’s conference room, due to the unavailability of the original venue.
The entire current executive was in place, as President Denrick Liburd and his executive, were on hand.
However, only a few of the clubs/teams were present and so the required quorum was not achieved.
The executive waited for some time past the mandated forty-five minutes, after the scheduled start of the meeting, before rescheduling to Thursday 1st February.
The meeting will be held on that date at the Sports Department’s conference room, located upstairs the Reliable Motors complex, starting at 5 pm.
If a quorum is not arrived at for that meeting, there are procedures in place to guide the process going forward, which could effectively mean that the current executive will continue as is.
