Ms Thompson was struck on the shoulder by the vehicle’s side mirror.
Her baby sustained minor injuries to her face.
She was issued a medical form for her child and both were transported to the Alexandra Hospital in a private vehicle.

Circumstances : Initial investigations indicate that Mr Browne Jr was travelling from Rawlins Pasture towards Camps.
Upon arriving in the Sea View Housing area, he reported that the sunlight impeded his vision of theroad.
He stated that this caused his collision into Ms Thompson and her baby, the impact of which threw the child from the stroller into the road.
