I want to say that the opening of this new Health Centre means a lot to me in my heart, in my mind and in my spirit. I am one who dealt with the clinic sometime in the 70’s and I am a regular person here from since that. So I have enough to say thank you, thank you, thank you and God bless you sir for your help and all the others who work among you, because all that you say and do, it suits me at my age at this time, I need everything that you are offering,” said Floretta Greene, who had the distinguished honour of cutting the ribbon to officially open the new facility in the presence of Governor General, His Excellency Sir Edmund Lawrence , Prime Minister Douglas, Parliamentary Representative, the Hon. Glenn Phillip, Dr. Vance Gilbert, nurses, healthcare workers and residents of the community.

I am 86 years old and by the help of God, I want to reach the 100,” said Ms. Greene to Prime Minister Douglas.

To all the persons who made it possible for this to happen, especially the contractor. He is a wonderful person. I want to recognize him a little more than I used to, because it has been a wonderful job he has done for me, I don’t know for others but I love it and God bless you all,” said Ms. Greene.
