Charlestown, Nevis – Mr. Ernest Amory of Amory Bakery in St. Kitts, recently made a promise, that in order to help to alleviate the pressures of life, brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, that he would provide a large quantity of bread, buns and pastries to the people of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Mr. Amory indicated that even though the people on the sister island, were not part of his regular clientele, he would also send 10,000 loaves of bread to Nevis.
The memo being circulated via WhatsApp, indicated that on Thursday, April 16, the bread would be delivered in zone four in Nevis, the parishes of St. John’s and St. George’s and on Friday, April 17, the deliveries will be made in zone five, the parishes of St. James’, St. Paul’s and St. Thomas’.
Many persons in St. George’s and St. John’s, were singing the praises of Mr. Amory and his renowned Bakery, on Thursday, as several school buses, were driven throughout those parishes and many householders received at least two bread per family.
The deliveries are expected to continue throughout zone four, tomorrow Friday, April 17.
