The now annual Alexandra Richards Football camp got on the way on Monday 14th August.
Alexandra Richards, whose brainchild it is, indicated that the camp begins at 9 am daily and concludes at about 1 pm.
Coach of the Bath United Football Club, Alex Claxton, who is assisting in coordinating the camp, stated that the sessions will conclude on August 25th with a grand festival, when the children will receive certificates and there will be some competitive matches played on the day.
The children are being taught the basics of the game of Football, but more that, they are also being taught basic life skills to aid in their overall development.
It was noted that over fifty children are attending the camp, with the numbers increasing on a daily basis.
It caters to girls from 4 years and older and to boys from 5 to 14 years of age
Meanwhile, Ms. Richards who is pursuing a degree in Cuba, indicated that she topped her class in the first semester and expressed appreciation to everyone who has assisted her thus far, even in providing basic supplies for her and the other St.Kitts and Nevis students there
