(CHARLESTOWN NEVIS)- A number of persons turned out at the Nevis Cultural Complex to witness the staging of Miss Caribbean Culture Pageant 2015.
Ten contestants competed for the prestigious title and at the conclusion of the contest, Miss Nevis Akiesha Fergus was crowned Miss Caribbean 2015.
The battle amongst the contestants was extremely competitive from the inception. All the participants personified self confidence and determination as they competed against each other in four judged segments.
At the end of the evening’s proceedings, Miss Dominica placed second runner-up. She captured the Best Interview segment. First runner-up was awarded to Miss Montserrat Sharissa Ryan. She was victorious in the Talent and Evening Wear Segments.
Miss Nevis Akiesha Fergus, who won both one-piece and two-piece categories for the Swimsuit competition that was held at Lime Beach Bar on Saturday, August 1, 2015 gained the nod of the judges and won the contest. The points that she garnered from the swimsuit, were added to those she received on the night of the pageant. She also captured the segment with the mystery question.
