Golden Rock, St. Kitts – August 9, 2013 (SCASPA): The Saint Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA), is investigating an incident at its Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport involving a Netjets Sales Inc. Learjet on Friday morning.
At approximately 5:55 a.m. Friday, an Air Traffic Controller observed the 2006 nine-seater Cessna Citation Sovereign bearing registration N369QS appeared to slide off of the parking area, down a grassy slope, before striking a small tree.
No injuries have been reported and no passenger or ground handling safety issues have been raised.
According to a SCASPA official, “We are investigating an incident which took place at approximately 5:55 this morning. What we can say is that the aircraft arrived Saint Kitts yesterday, August 8th at approximately 5:47pm from Syracuse Hancock International Airport and was scheduled to leave today. This incident has not affected any scheduled flights operating from of the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport. The St. Christopher and Nevis Royal Police Force, the Airport Fire and Rescue Services, along with the National Civil Aviation Department and the Eastern Caribbean Civil Aviation Authority have been notified and are on the scene and investigating the matter.”

On Thursday, August 8, at 5:47pm the 9-passenger private 2006 Cessna Citation Sovereign 680 landed Saint Christopher’s (St. Kitts’) Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport. The passengers and pilot disembarked the aircraft after it was parked on the western apron of the airport.
