Adrian Williams of Nevis, threw his personal best in the 800g Javelin event and a NEW St. Kitts & Nevis National Record (to be confirmed) at the Texas Tech Masked Rider Open, held on 6th May 2017 with 69.34m (227′ 6″).
Adrian was ranked first in the country (NJCAA) in the men’s javelin. That would place him 24th on the current North American, Central American & Caribbean (NACAC) ranking, up from 36th.
Adrian who represented South Plains College, eclipsed his previous record of 68.20m set on April 23rd 2016f 68.20m (223′ 9″) set on April 23rd 2016. His new personal best is also a new school record.
His closest competitor from Abilene Christian University threw a distance of 50.79m
He has now established his personal best and a new school record.
