Injuries 1 — Mr Bye sustained minor injuries and was transported to the Alexandra Hospital for treatment and observation.

Investigations indicate that Mr Daniel and Mr Bye travelled from Charlestown towards Newcastle. Having arrived at Cades Bay, Mr Daniel attempted a right turn into Yubrenta Restaurant. While doing so, Mr Bye attempted to overtake and collided with the right front side of Mr Daniel’s vehicle.
As a result, Mr Bye lost control of his vehicle and collided with a fence on the seaside of the road.
