Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 26, 2015 (SKNIS): Minister of Tourism, Honourable Lindsay Grant, recently clarified that the millionth cruise passenger to St. Kitts and Nevis should arrive on July 22, 2016.
The minister explained that the cruise season, which started on October 1, runs from October, 2015 to September 2016.
“Our millionth passenger is going to be delivered in that period that is the 2015 to 2016 cruise season on July the 22nd where we have the Carnival Fascination here,” said the minister.
The tourism minister stated that this significant milestone should be and will be celebrated.
“In fact we are going to have a celebration and we are going to do various activities on that day to commemorate that millionth passenger,” said the minister.
The public is expected to be updated on the activities that the ministry will be having in this regard.
