(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)– On Thursday, November 13, 2014, the finals of the 2014 Primary Schools Football league were held at the ET Willet Park.
St. James’ Primary gained a historic victory in the B Division finals, by beating St.Thomas’ Primary 2 goals to nil and Charlestown Primary, edged out defending champions Ivor Walters Primary in a thriller, to lift the A division championship, with a score line of 2 goals to 1.
Immediately after the final match, the top performers in the tournament received their awards.
The brief ceremony was chaired by Director of Sports, Mr. Jamir Claxton and the awards were presented by the Junior Minister of Sports, Hon. Hazel Brandy-Williams and Principal Education Officer, Mrs. Palsy Wilkin.
Also addressing the persons present, was Sports Coordinator in the Ministry of Education, Ms Michelle Sutton.
